I go to college: that's the ticket!

Saw this ticket sticking out of the top of a trashcan today while walking across campus.

 

Conclusions to be drawn:

1. This trashcan was illegally parked in the Haymaker North lot.

OR

2. This student is going to have a problem next time they try to enroll, graduate, etc.

really?  In whose mind is this the best solution?

Yea, I know...I'm still in denial. Sorry. Just haven't "felt it". when it comes to blogging lately. But I am tired of getting harassed by people to update it. (aka...2 people sort of mentioned it to me in passing....yes, i'm very sensitive)

Anyway, I thought I would share my latest self-induced problem.

See last week when a friend stopped by to visit me in my office I was absentmindedly playing with a piece of scotch tape while we were chatting (yea, not sure why either), but I was delighted to find that I made THIS:::::

Yes, a little tape star that I put on my volume dial on my keyboard. (isn't it lovely).

It is.

It is a GIANT PAIN!!! IT IS ALWAYS IN THE WAY -- WHENEVER SOMEONE CALLS AND I NEED TO TURN THE VOLUME DOWN, ETC...IT IS SO HARD TO USE WITH THAT STUPID TAPE STAR ON THERE.

So you are thinking "so just take it off". excellent suggestion. only I can't. not sure why. I just want it to stay.

I have created my own little hell with a piece of scotch tape.

Yes. I am aware that some people have "actual problems".
