Really???

Is wind REALLY neccessary??  I think not...we were enjoying the 85 degree weather with a little kayaking....about 5 miles in we felt the full force of the wind as we were paddling INTO like 2 foot waves that were breaking over our kayaks...

So we ended up turning around and paddling the same 5 miles up river...oh...I forgot to mention that the wind was blowing up sand and little sand twisters right into us.  awesome...yea....

Getting ready for summer with our new tent.... 

Yes we had to set it up IN the apartment right away to check it out....

Happy B-Earthday!!

Today my lovely mother turns 50!! She is lucky to share her birthday with Earth Day...that way no matter how old she gets she'll always feel young compared to Earth's 3.8 - 4.5 billion years or so.

Andy's bad luck....

After evaluating a series of independent and unrelated events that have unfortunately been atypically not good, I have decided that Andy brings bad luck.... 

I can only assume that is why K-State lost the game we were at....maybe we'll see how the next game we go to turns out before making a final diagnosis.

Chance meeting....

So this is the second time I was suppose to meet Emily for lunch or hanging out that JJ just happened to appear with her....

Actually this time JJ came like 30 minutes before her...apparently we can just invite anyone to hang out with us whenever we feel like. (Just kidding, JJ).  But seriously, I do wonder why she never tells me...is she afraid I will say "no"?  :)
