For the past month or so our house has been under attack.

The sounds of the stupidest cardinal in the world continuously (LITERALLY) flying into our windows.  We have  several cardinals around --- this one apparently has claimed the house as "his turf".  He spends hours each day trying to scare away the "bird in the window" in pretty much every window in the house

solution: tape streamers of trash bags to the window to scare him away.

 

 our house now looks like this.....like some kind of quarantined, pirate ship, day of the dead party hotspot.

STUPID BIRD -- WE ARE DOING THIS FOR YOUR OWN GOOD -- GO AWAY.

this is why we can't be friends: what's for dinner?

I come home today to learn that Andy's dinner has consisted of:

- chips and homemade salsa

-homemade baked beans

- pancakes

-sauteed morel mushrooms

- celery and dip

there really aren't words....

this is why we can't be friends.
