So, we are still working on the whole naming our baby thing...

(yea, we know, time is getting short)

Last night Andy said, 

"So I have a new strategy for naming the baby"

Me: ......

Andy: "Do you want to hear it?"

Me: .....

Andy: "Okay, so I was thinking that we should look for names that mean "one with the beard" or "one with a beard"

Me: .....

I remember laughing when we planted our corn this year that it would be ready to harvest at pretty much the same time the baby is due....

So, yea, last night we picked and froze corn...

Hmm. I wonder if Andy has ever seen the movie That Darn Cat!...That Darn Cat! is a 1965 American Walt Disney Productions feature film about bank robbers, a kidnapping and a mischievous cat. SO good.  I mean the word classic was probably invented because of this flick! I think a viewing of this might be the first order of business if we ever get to move into our new place....

Wow. this movie can be MINE for $11.93 -- bless you Amazon.

J-Dizzle's new baby

J-Dizzle's baby bro has arrived! Two weeks ago today Alex Michael O'Halloran made his debut.

J-Dizzle mostly wanted to hold hands with baby....and then play with toys.

He has since upgraded to kisses...and playing with toys.

I'm confident that at some point before Alex graduates high school J will stop calling him "baby" and start calling him "Alex"..he knows the baby's name..just prefers baby for now. :)

just a quick update on this post ... it's still there.  come on out little dude...it's okay.  i'm your friend. let's play.

in related news....the person who claims this guy as their own (although he's wrong, it is totally mine) -- he is getting married in a week -- AND DIDN'T REGISTER.  Yea. You read it. nothing.  I can only assume this is meant to foster creativity with the gift giving...so far I have only thought of a slinky or a picture of me.
